What is a home carer?
Home care givers (sometimes known as Personal assistants-PA and carers) provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADL) such as meal preparation, dressing, grooming, medication monitoring, transportation and light housekeeping.
A home carer is someone who is responsible for providing support to someone in the comfort of their own home. Home carers have a duty of care to each and every person they look after. As well as helping with the practicalities of daily life, private carers are also there as a friendly face that you can rely upon and get to know.
About Me
My name is Emma, I am based in Emsworth, Hampshire. I am a private, self-employed carer - sometimes known as a Personal Assistant (PA). I am a friendly, down to earth but very professional woman in my fourties. I have worked in the public sector for 25 years. Serving as a Police Officer in my twenties and thirties and moving into the care industry in my fourties. This is where I found my true passion and hope to provide care and companionship to you or your loved one.
I have an abundance of experience in the following areas:
Elderly Care, Dementia Care, Parkinsons Disease, Learning difficulties - Autism/ADHD, Catheter (male and female), Convene catheter care, Domestic Care, Companionship, Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Disability.

30 Minute visits £18.50
£25 per hour week days / £35 per hour on Saturdays and Sundays
Bank holidays £50 per hour
Domiciliary Care
£30 per hour Monday to Friday / £40 per hour on Saturdays and Sundays.
Bank holidays £60 per hour
Overnight stay (typically 10pm - 7am) to be discussed depending on care needs.
Fuel is charged at 45 pence per mile if transportation is required
Daily, weekly and one off visits offered.
Please note that I am not a trained nurse and can not deal with dressings or wounds. A district nurse would be assigned to deal with these for you.
